I think that I have said it many times here: I am in love with Italy, its style, its decoration and of course, of its inhabitants. Today I bring you a House for once is not us but Rome, the city of eternal, and more specifically of the Janiculum, this neighborhood in the Trastevere district that is full of charm in every corner.
The decoration of the House that I am going to teach has been in charge of the architectural firm of Carola Vannini, has created a modern space in an old palazzo. The large spaces, which reminds us of a loft, are separated by partitions not reaching up to the ceiling by which light is preserved in all its corners and also allows residents of fluid circulation.
We began our tour of the Hall, you have under these lines, where we can see the contrast between the most ancient architectural elements and Vanguard furniture. While the walls and ceilings are white or raw colors, here is has decided to put a sofa and some green bean bags to create a zone of social gathering with black resin table.
As you can see, this House decorators have played with square volumes of architecture and the curves of the furniture creating a space for the most original. What I like less in this area perhaps sculpture (the trunk?) that are on the shelf that are next to the fireplace. That Yes, I love that they have retained the wood beams and that they have not treated them.
In the image above is the dining area from the same House, with the ubiquitous Panton chairs, which already bore me so see them. Observe how There is no visual separation with the previous space further than the marked by the backrest of the Chair (to the right of the image you have the tronco-escultura) but that is separated from the rest of the House using that partition which does not arrive up to above.
The kitchen continues with the tone of the rest of the House: walls white or Ecru, with wooden furniture, even the countertops and quite minimalist. The big problem of this space is the pilaster to the entrance, which left scope, even if they have used it well with a shelf that provides extra storage space.
In the bedroom, we see how have opted for keep the brick Vault and even the beam that is there on the bed, which functions as a framework for the headboard. Here have been a white Chair to maintain sobriety because they want that all the limelight bed, take him with their personality-filled red quilt.
Finally, I wanted that you see to fund one of the bathrooms of this House, white, which reminds me a bit to the baths of airplanes. Prevail throughout this room the curved lines, toilets for both walls, so we see they have a coating to take these forms.
I especially like the bathroom the the shower area, where they have a small hole to allow the gel and shampoo, and I imagine that they will have thought any solution so that water does not spread over the entire surface during use. The mirror is also a marvilla.
In short, the House seems charming and have been able to integrate modern furniture in an old building. Perhaps I would not have made the interior partitions, though I imagine that it will by likes.
