Over time, various stubborn stains are formed on the garments, which can not be removed with simple detergent in the washing machine. Nevertheless, it is too bad to throw them away. And you do not have to! With a few tricks you can try to clean your garments. Try the tricks for cleaning the clothes and wear the garments for a long time thereafter.
Cleaning the clothes – welding spots
To clean the clothing with sweat, you should soak in warm or cold water. Then make a paste in an extra bowl, which consists to a part of water and three parts of soda. Use a toothbrush to work this paste into the stained areas. Depending on the stubbornness of the stains, this solution should then be applied for one hour or overnight.
Cleaning clothes with soda
After that you should wash the clothes without detergent and with as warm water, but not hotter than indicated. If the marks have not completely disappeared after the first attempt, you can repeat the cleaning of the clothing. This trick can be used for both white and colored laundry.
Make-up spots clean
Stains caused by makeup are particularly persistent and are often a challenge for the washing machine. This is why hand washing must be carried out for the cleaning of the clothing. Two products can help. Once, shaving foam can act effectively and on the other hand simple dishwashing detergent. Use what you have on hand.
Remove stains with shaving foam and dishwashing detergent
Shaving foam is easily distributed on the spot to clean clothes. You can then let the foam soak in for a while. Then the garment is washed as usual in the washing machine. For the variant with dishwashing detergent, prepare a solution with water. Allow the garment to soak, wring it out, and wipe the stain off easily.
Remove deodorant stains
You can easily remove fresh deodorant stains with softener cloths. Rub the stains easily with their help. Usually, this is already sufficient to remove such spots. If the stains are more stubborn, try the following variants to clean your clothes:
Use the stain remover
A stain cleanser for cleaning the clothes can do miracles here. Simply rub the cleaner from top to bottom. For stubborn stains you can also use some water. If this does not help, we recommend using a new Deo that is transparent. These do not leave a spot on the clothes.
Stains of lipstick
Lipstick stains probably occur rather rarely. Nevertheless, it may happen that you drop the lipstick and thereby contaminate your upper part. Then rub the coarse soiling with a cloth to clean the clothes. Then spray the stain with a little water. Place a drop of dishwashing on the water stain and rub it well. Allow to work for 10 to 15 minutes. Then use a terry cloth to continue rubbing, starting from the outer edge and working backwards and forwards. Finally dry the stain with the dry side of the terry cloth.
Cleaning the clothes – alcohol as a stain remover
Also alcohol can be very helpful with lipstick. To clean the clothing, spread the garment on a firm pad. The spot should point downwards. A cotton pad, saturated with alcohol, is now used for cleaning. Polish the back of the stain, then rinse with cold water. Then rub the stain with a dry cloth.
Clean discolored clothing
As much as one is careful, it can always happen that a colored garment accidentally gets into the white laundry and colors it. As annoying as this is, you can save them by washing them again and thus cleaning the paint in your clothes. Fill the washing machine with hot water, add bleach and wash the previously white wash. Be sure to remove the colored garment beforehand! This cleaning of the clothing may have to be repeated.
Care and clean the suede
In order to avoid stains as far as possible, it is advisable to work with a protective spray. This is especially true for shoes. The spray is dirt-repellent and prevents discoloration. Also, the shoes should not be airtightly closed. Instead of plastic bags you can use cotton bags, which guarantee a sufficient air circulation. Shoes should be stored in a cool, dry place and not exposed to direct sunlight.
Trick with flour
For the cleaning of the clothing, which already has stains, the following applies: immediately after the knotting, the stain has to be dabbed with a dry cloth and sprinkled with flour or talcum powder. Thus, the garment remains overnight. The next morning remove the dried powder with a caring brush for suede.
Cleaning without water
Dried spots are not removed with water. At all, water should be avoided to clean suede clothing as liquids can damage both the paint and the surface of the material. Instead, use some vinegar and a dry cloth.
Water stains on leather
To clean the clothing, wipe the leather dry with a soft, clean cloth. Dip a clean cloth into a solution of water and liquid soap. So wipe the leather thoroughly until the spots disappear. The remaining moisture is then removed with a dry cloth. Allow the shoes to dry by themselves for half an hour. Do not use hot air to dry!
Clean yellow clothing
White garments yellow with time, which is naturally annoying. However, you can recover their original whiteness with proper cleaning of the clothes. Mix a solution of 4 liters of lukewarm water and 250 ml of soda that should dissolve well in the water. Let the white clothes soak for eight hours. After that, the clothes must soak in another solution for eight hours consisting of 325 mg of aspirin tablets and eight liters of hot water. Finally, the clothes are washed as usual in the washing machine, preferably at 50 degrees. You can also clean the clothes with vinegar for a better result. Simply add 250 ml to the washing machine.
Other tips for clothing – Unrivaled zippers
A wax pin can help if the zipper does not want to slip any more. Use the stylus to simply rub the entire zipper or just the jammed area. Then open and close the zipper several times to distribute the graphite well. Another variant is soap. Dip some cotton wool into soap and then into water. Now apply the zipper. Then open and close the zipper again until it no longer jammed.
Lint on clothes
In order to get rid of the annoying knots and lint on your clothes, you can try out three other variants in addition to a lint scrubber. On the one hand they can be cut off with a razor blade. You can also glue the adhesive tape to the lint spots and peel off the lint. Very effective is also Velcro. It is best to use the Velcro fastener that you do not use any more. However, do not use this method too often because the Velcro can damage the fabric. And also the comb is a super aid. Comb the piece of clothing and, more precisely, the lint in the weaving direction. They dissolve.
