Directions:
Fareast Road west of Pudong Airport and Yingbin Road each lead to the inner and outer city ring of Shanghai. The outer ring of Shanghai connects Pudong International Airport with Hong Qiao International Airport (travel time: 60 minutes). The inner city ring leads to Shanghai city center and People’s Square. The travel time from the city center to Pudong International Airport is approximately 50 minutes depending on traffic.
Transfer between the terminals:
T1, T2 and the satellite terminal are connected by underground MRT trains every 5 minutes (journey time: maximum 2 minutes 30 seconds).

Public transportation
Public transport – street:
Bus: Several bus lines run from 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. between the airport and various parts of Shanghai. Airport bus 1 connects Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (journey time: 30-40 minutes). Other bus connections run to destinations such as City Air Terminal (Jingan Temple), Galaxy Hotel, Hongkou Football Stadium, Zhongshan Park, Lin Gang Xin Cheng and Shanghai South Railway Station.
Taxis are available at the airport in front of the terminals; Passengers should ensure that they are in the correct queue for their destination and that the taximeter is switched on. Travel time to Shanghai city center is 25-40 minutes.
Public transport – train:
Rail: The Shanghai Maglev Transrapid magnetic railway connects the airport every 15 to 20 minutes every day from 7 am to 9 pm with Metro Line 2 at Longyang Station (journey time: 8 minutes. Travel costs: from ¥ 50). The airport station is connected to the terminal by a bridge.
The Metro Line 2 connects the airport with the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and downtown Shanghai.

Money:
There are banks, money exchange offices (open during air traffic) and numerous ATMs in the terminals.
Means of communication:
Free WiFi access to high-speed internet is available throughout the airport. Public telephones, charging stations for mobile phones and fixed internet kiosks are available.
Gastronomy:
A selection of restaurants, cafés and bars is available in both terminals and in the satellite terminal, mainly on the third floor. These include fast-food restaurants, restaurants with national cuisine and restaurants with international cuisine.
Shopping:
Numerous shops, including duty-free shops, gift shops and designer outlets, are available. They are mainly located in designated shopping areas on the third floor of the terminals.
Luggage:
Both terminals have luggage storage. Lost and found offices are located between gates 6 and 7 in the international arrival area of Terminal 1 (tel: +86 21 6834 6324) and in the departure area of Terminal 2 (tel: +86 21 6834 0417).
Other facilities:
Baby changing rooms and nursing corners are available. There is a pharmacy in the shopping center on the third floor of Terminal 2. Beds can be rented by transit passengers by the hour.

Accessibility facilities:
Disabled toilets, elevators, wheelchair ramps and TDD telephones for the hearing impaired are available at the airport. Wheelchairs must be booked with the airline in advance.
Parking spaces:
A three-story car park with over 3,000 spaces and a parking space with short and long-term spaces are available at the airport in front of the terminals.
Car rental:
Self-drive rental cars from Hertz and Avis are available at the airport. Most visitors, however, opt for chauffeur services. This service can be booked on a daily or weekly basis.
